Dock Worker wanted for Port Melbourne!

• Located in Port Melbourne, Vic.
• Day shift 6am to 2pm (Monday - Friday).
• Pay rate of $34.79ph (including casual loading).

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking a dockworker, to join their client in Port Melbourne VIC. The site is a sea terminal for the storage and movement of motor vehicles.

The successful applicant will have completed and pass a police check. The ideal candidate will be someone who is mechanically minded or have a hobby around cars and modifications.

Duties and responsibilities involved/ requirements:

• Look for paint damage, scratch & dents.
• Test all electronics, including radio and dash system, AC, lights etc.
• Check for fluid leaks (oil, brake fluid), check tyre pressure.
• Use of hoist and car jacks.
• Move vehicles around the car slots and undercover storage areas.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Mechanically minded.
• Must pass a police check.
• Be able to provide a driving history.
• Forklift license - but not essential.
• MSIC card is preferred.
• Must be available Monday to Friday.
• Punctual & reliable.
• Physically fit.
